2003 ford ranger 3.0L computer flash?
My 2003 ranger 3.0l just went dead. the engine will turn over but will not start.
Checked and replaced plugs wires and coil. No change
checked fuel pressure at rail get 60psi, changed fuel filter. No Change
replaced camshaft sensor and syncronizer checked TDC (fifth tooth to Crankshaft sensor on compression stroke) with syncronizer tool and replaced sonsor. No Change
cleaned all grounds and removed ECM or PCM for inspection all looks and smells good.
This time the engine started when the pedal is depressed and will only run smooth above 1500rpm and thing less it stalls. Scanner is showing no codes. CEL goes out while cranking and while running. Could the ECU not be controling idle. does it need to be flashed. and how do I go about that ? any sources?

the engine will start but will not idle. I have to hold the rpms above 1200. I get not check engine light. and no codes.

There is also a BCM( Body Control Module) which is under the center console cup holder on my 01 AT,4x2,standard cab. Could also be that but i agree with OTRtech. I would replace the TPS an prob the IAC since it won't idle but if the TPS is bad it's gonna give the rest of the sensors bad info so they won't work rite as well!!
