Leaking heater hose connector

Hey there I have a 1994 ford ranger 3.0 and my heater hose connector is leaking (it's the one that goes into the thermostat housing and when I took the hose off it just looks horrible I was wondering if anyone has had his problem and knows of an easy fix or where to find the part cause I can't find it at any parts stores

Welcome to the forum

have a look here, at picture in post #4: https://www.ranger-forums.com/2-9l-3...r-hose-138801/

Is that the location of the leak?

Yes, both of those fittings are known to rust thru, if coolant isn't changed every two years.

Not easy to fix since you need to disassemble brackets to get to it and then unscrew it and screw in the replacement.
