little help

im looking to make my Ranger abit faster. i want to run a new exhaust and intake, also getting my intake, heads, and exhaust manifold race ported with bigger injectors. i have a 2000 rwd 3.0v6 with 78K miles. can you guys recomend any good exhaust kits? i want one thats nice and loud and gives me a tad bit more power. is there anyother mods that are cheap and bolt on that will give me power? im sick of these pos civics and i cant afford a 240 and a rb25 right now so im going to use my ranger.

ps. all races will be on a track. i dont street race im smarter then that

I have a 2.5" single chamber flowmaster on my 98. I just cut the exhaust tubing around 18 inches after the o2 sensor and welded it and a piece of turn down on the other end. It sounds great idling and driving. Its what baha trucks have and its only gona cost ya like $100 I can send you a pic also.
