100k Tune-up??

I've already hit the plugs, wires, belt, air fitler, PCV-valve and have the fuel filter left to do. Oil change was right before, so it isn't due for about 2-3k more. Tranny was also flushed about 3.5-4k ago.

What else do I need to do? It is running ok, just want to make sure I don't overlook anything important that will leave me stranded ont eh side of the road!

Thanks in advance! :

On the 3.0 there's not a lot more you can do. Might want to think about changing power steering fluid, and the differential fluid. It can run well for many miles.

Good luck!

You may need a coolant flush/change. OE green Ford coolant should be changed every 2 years, gold is 5/50,000. Radiator and heater hoses don't last forever. If yours are original, you might want to swap them out with the coolant change. Here's to your next 100K!

I forgot, I also had the radiator flushed when it was in to replace the driver's seatbelt (Under Kansas warranty, $0 for me). Hoses seem squishy, in a good way! :)

I may have to explore diff fluid. How exactly do you drain the power steering resevoir?

I probably need a brake bleeding too. Are there any grase zerks to hit, U-joints, front axle shafts, steering?

Thanks for the input! If there is more, keep it coming!

just becuase its a hard job for you doesnt mean it is for other people. Ive done plenty on various engines it isnt too intense, an afternoon job. I like to do them before they actually fail and cause other problems to the engine. He is at 100k
