3.0 Piston Rings

I am rebuilding a motor from a 2000 Ford Ranger 3.0 to replace my blown 98 3.0. I had to buy new pistons since i had a crack going up the side of one so I ordered some Engine Tech pistons with sealed powered rings. I started to put the rings on following my haynes manual, when I noticed that the rings that came from sealed power a little different then stock ones. I doubled checked that rings where a match for the 2000 3.0 v6 and it is...

The box of piston rings did not come with instructions for orientation of the rings so i'm trying to figure that out. One major question that I have is the oil ring seems to be a little larger then I thought it would be for buying stock/standard parts for this rebuild since i'm not trying to do anything crazy, I just want my ranger back up and running strong. I'm not writing this to start a 4.0/5.0 swap thread or to be asked why i'm rebuilding a 3.0 my questions is does anyone have experience with the pistons/rings i'm using and if the oil ring is suppose to stick out of the piston a little. I will try to show pictures later when I get home.

Note: stock rings have an outer bevel and the new rings have a inner bevel on the second compression ring. Im sorta out a lost I have made contact with a distributor like federal mongol to see if they can send a scan document.
