Which exhaust to get and where to get it?

What is a good bolt on cat-back for the 3.0??? Also, is dual exhaust worth it? Does it hurt performance in anyway? Affect gas mileage? I'm just looking for a little bit deeper sound maybe.

you can get a flowmaster muffler online for less than $50 bucks and go to a shop and have it installed with custom pipes... not very expensive....

best ebay seller of flowmasters... http://stores.ebay.com/Performance-Peddler

after shipping it would be about 60 bucks... just depends on if you want single in, dual out or single-single

I have and prefer the jba headers and exhuast over the flowmasters. It's a single exhuast and looks great yet still has the stock bend. They dont sound ricy, sounds like a V8 mustang. I bought them online at jbaheaders.com

I went with the Dynomax Cat back.. costs like 280. It's not loud by any means. But You feel a Noticable Difference. I believe you can get it through Jegs and Summit

flowmaster all the way...man i need a clip of my truck. but yea, got custom mandrel bent piping and a flowmaster 40. it rumbles and wasnt loud till i did that one thing, but i like my truck loud. find a local place and get to know the owner guy and he may cut you a deal. id make sure the pipes are mandrel bent.

I'm not a big fan of Flowmaster. When I had my 98 Mustang Gt, I had Magnaflow Magnapack and I thought they sounded so much better. Plus, everyone in the world has Flowmaster, and they all have that same drone! lol

Anyway, I'm looking for like a bolt on or I may just get a muffler welded in. I just want Something basic really that sounds better and will maybe help performance?

from pasa-get-down-dena i see. i can see if i can get a phone number of a descent place to go. ive got a couple friends in pasadena. but everyone has their own opinion about exhaust. you could do gibson, jba, get a muffler with custom pipes. all in all it would all end up costing about the same. IMO id rather have something custom mandrel bent with either a magnaflow or a flowmaster

That would be cool if you could recommend a shop! I wanna get a rough estimate if possible. I'm still undecided and don't have the money yet, so all suggestions are welcome!
Thanks again.
