No cold air

I have 2002 3.0 and replied to roaches thread at the end of his.I have a similar problem in that the compresor comes on and cycles on/off but no cold air.Is it just a recharge?Worked fine last fall.It seems to cycle on/off faster than usual too.

when it runs does, it shut off quickly, or does it run for a little bit??

if it does, over on the drying tank, on the top, theres a switch with 2 wires coming out. pull off and connect the wires with a jump wire, and turn on the ac. it should turn on and get cold. if it turns on and not get cold, then its prob shutting off cuz it needs to be charged. if it turns on and gets cold, then its prob that switch. just unscrew it and head to the auto store. put the new one in and you shoud be ready to go.
