you wont blow your motor even if it didnt, my rev limiter was 3k rpms.....so if you have one it will probably cut out before 4krpms..

Double poster

thats what i was gonna say. i think i read somewhere that automatics have a rev limiter of 3k while in park. not sure it that is entirely correct and may vary from year to year.

in park and neutral the 98 doesn't have a rev limiter that I've found up to 5,500. Unless my tach is off.

In park and neutral it peaks at 3k but if your cruisin down the road at above 30 mpgs the rev limiter turns of if you throw it and neutral and rev it.:)

^u don’t need to be going 30.. just when ur going in drive and throw it in Neutral and immediately rev it you will have no limiter, but wait too long and it will kick in.

Parking structures kick *** for that move =)

On a random side note, my roomate at Cal Poly last year was from Pacifica

IV put mine in neutral going around 30 and it still had a real low rev limiter.... It has a limiter probley around 5200 when ur in drive spinning out or just shift real late....
