All it is, is the air silencer removed from the box I believe. I wouldent know for sure though seeing how I have a K&N intake. I got the AEM dryflow filter for it though because the damn oil from the K&N was getting on the MAF and causing lean codes.

I did a little more than remove the snorkel but you can stop there.
Don't over oil your filter and you won't have MAF problems. I've been running K&Ns for years and here is the only place I've ever read about MAF problems.
I did catch my K&N trying to kill my motor and snapped this photo before it could finish so it's true that K&Ns are killers but they do like Glocks so they are smart.

I never over oiled it. Its funny I havent had the code come back since I ditched the filter. K&N is fine, but I prefer the new AEM dryflow. Im not saying K&N is bad like Tadeaka or whatever his name is. His arguement is a little different, he's emplying that they don't increase performance. I never said that.

Edit: It also did it before the first filter service, so I KNOW it wasn't over oiled unless K&N themselves did it.

I have an Amsoil dry flow (micro or nano fiber) filter. I like it better than the two different wet filters I've owned.
