dual exauhst diffrence....

is there any diffrence in performace gains if i have a dual muffler with lightning style pipes, or with dual pipes going out the back?

is there any gain by having longer pipes compared to the shorter lightning style pipes?

you cant do true duals on our trucks, so no one is gonna be able to answer from experience.

as far as longer pipes, its gonna basically be the same as the debate between larger diameter exhaust vs stock.

I don't think he is talking about true duals, just dual tips out the back.

I don't think there is any performance gain from going an extra foot of piping.

you will have more torque and less in cab noise if you go all the way to the rear

We cant do the lightning style thanks to our fuel tank being there. Why not just put a convergent duct on there to get some really good thrust? J/K

It honestly makes no difference. No gains or losses that will even be remotely noticeable.

true duals is have a muffler per header....im still deciding because i like the way that both look and theyre roughly the same price if i get the thunderbolt exhaust

since we only have 1 cad and 1 O2 sensor behind it... we cannot do a true dual design.. plus out engines require backpressure to make max power so it be pointless

if u get tru duals ull lose all ur back pressure and actually lose power. u need some backpressure. i was gonna get tru duals then i found that out and just gotta y pipe. witha flowmaster it still sounds awesome.

Don't quote me on this, as I don't know......but doesn't the dual exhaust take away from low end torque?

depends on pipe size, if you keep the pipe size small, it will be fine
