What would you recommend exhaust wise?

What would you all in the Ranger - Forums community suggest exhaust wise for an 86' Ranger? I want a dual system, that exits out of the sides behind the tires. But I really can't find anything for my year.

Take it to a shop, they should be able to bend you up something pretty quick. Magnaflow sounds good and preforms well, don't have to worry about rust with a stainless muffler either. Flowmaster sounds great if you want it loud

I think your going to have to go custom for that truck.

What motor do you have in there?

Most sound is in the ear of the beholder, so its hard to say what will sound good and what wont.
Hit up youtube, there is like a million sound clips.

Yeah I looked at Magnaflow and Flowmaster, I leaned more towards Flowmaster. But it's hard to find a setup for a 2.9 86' Ford haha. :)

yeah alot of people around here swares by flo master, and I like 'em, but I go flo-pro I think I bought the stainless muffler. I know deffinently I got stainless tips cause mine exit at an angle behind my tires and stainless would hold up better than chrome. any way like it has been said before just go to a locale muffler shop and get a quote, I got my exhaust for $272 counting the stainless tips which cost extra. good luck man.

Yeah around here we got a shop called Troyer Performance. I think I will waltz in there and get a quote or something. And Flowmaster is a good product to swear by. Thank you all!

Troyer is awesome, I've ordered some stuff from them before. They own in the F-150 world for performance parts. They include Magnaflow and MBRP in their exhaust systems though... not flowmaster
