Just wondering

I have a 03 5 speed 3.0 and when I have my MAXAC on, sometimes my rpms stay up when I come to a stop. I was wondering if this happends to any body else.

im pretty sure that the pcm has the engine idle a little higher to accommodate for the increased drag from the ac compressor

Stays up how?

1000-1500RPM nothing to worry about probably what Tim L said.

Any higher and you may have a vacuum leak or something else. :)

3.0's seem to develop this problem quite often.

It usually can hang preaty high depending how high it was reving before I stoped. Its like I wll be at a stop light and its running at about 2000 or so with the clutch pushed in. Its just anoying more then anything.
