What the normal Idle Speed for a 2000 3.0 Automatic 4x4?

950rpm or somewhere near there, but I turned my down a little with my X-Cal2. I may be wrong, does anyone here know for sure?

i think between 750 and 800 rpms at idle

Thanks for the replies.

Mine idles a hair over 900, and it seems high.

I haven't owned an automatic in a long time, and I'm used to standards having a lower idle speed in general.

hi there, i have the 4.0 OHV and at idle in neutral i run around 1100rpm seems a bit high.. any way i can lower this??

just under a 1000 i idle at, but i am dying to know what an X-cal2 will do to my truck, if i will actually notice the difference
