Finally Changed the Air Filter in the Thunderbolt CAI

The Donaldson filter had around 20,000 miles on it and was looking bad. I needed a cone filter with a three inch diameter and it came down to an AEM or a K&N filter. The K&N was $7 more so I figured I would install a K&N RE-0930 filter. At least the truck is idling lower now and hopefully it will help the fuel economy.

For what it's worth, the K&N filter is practically double in size from the Donaldson filter, and it does fit inside the air box, albeit there is not a lot of room for anything else, haha.

Let us know how it works as far as fuel economy after a while.

Can do...with fuel costs as they are, I'm hoping this makes a considerable difference.
