Can anyone point me to a thread or member who has done a timing chain replacement on a 2006 ranger 4.0

 

Explorer forums will have the most info since they got the 4.0l SOHC engines in the late 1990's so had the most problems with the timing chains.
Good news is that with the newer designed parts the problems are not coming back.

You should pull out the engine for this but some have done it without doing that.
