S****y Gas Mileage

I recently changed my plugs and wires, with new Motorcraft wires and Motorcraft Platinum plugs. Since changing them my gas mileage has dropped like two miles a gallon. I was at 16is avg, and now at 14ish. What could it be??

What engine? My 4.0L SOHC calls for a pretty big difference in acceptable gaps: .041-.060 if I recall. As per the sticker on the core support.
