So I'm putting a 4.0 OHV in my 98. The original 3.0 ran a single line fuel pump with a evap container located on the spare tire carrier. The 4.0 I believe runs 2 lines. So i was thinking, put a older fuel pump in and ditch the evap setup???

Not sure. Looking for suggestiuons. I see 2 fuel lines coming off the motor so I'm assuming it's a 2 line setup like the older models. Correct me if I'm wrong and fill my knowldege so I can finally turn the key on my Ranger after 2 long years of being a yard ornament. hehe

I believe the 4.0 came out of a 96 Xploder.

 

I'm gettingn nervous that no one knows. lol

Bottom line, what would ya'll do?
