Another Exhaust?? I think mine is different?..
Ok... So i want to start out by saying that I have searched..(maby I missed it). I have foud lots of exhaust threads but they are just not what I am looing for..To me it sounds like everyone wants to be loud..Well I on the other hand would like the power increase, But I want to keep my truck quiet. I have all ready talked to the local pipe bender and he said a 2" would be best..thats what is all ready on the truck.( just about every thing I like that I have found so far is 2 1/4..) He also said he would like to do a off set/center. To get the inlet up a bit higher. I plan on doing a side exit on the pass side just in front of the tire... What would you guys recomend? I need more power! but at the same time not much louder than stock...
this is one of the ones I have looked at so far..http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...+115&x=32&y=13

Thats the same line of muffler that comes in the Gibson cat-back systems. I have the Gibson Extreme Dual exhaust and it is single in with dual 1 3/4 outs. It has a nice deep tone but is not as loud as other systems. Definitely louder than stock but it is more geared towards performance than just being loud like the others.

If i would have known you were looking into exhaust i would have let you heard mine....its not very loud, flowmaster 40 series...has a really nice growl to it...
The pipe bender that did mine said 2-1/4 is best for the V6
When i get my titan.....im doing duals out the back with a flowmaster 30 series...one tip going out behind each back tire....

If you are mainly looking for performance than I would take a look at this thread: http://www.broaderperformance.com/mu...flow_tests.htm
It is from some guy who tested several different mufflers at his shop on his flow bench. Borla and Hooker seem to be two very good choices in the performance categorie. Gibson is unfortunately not on the list though, also I think that the borla is a little quieter and a lot more expensive than the hooker mufflers.
