Air Intake Silencer
#5
It's called an "air horn" because it does the opposite of a normal horn. It muffles noise.
It also helps to create laminar air flow. (but is not very effective at it)
And it very effectively seals out engine room heat.
Generally on a stock motor you will gain a few hp on the top end, better hear the induction noises, and cause drastic swings in intake air temps (at low speeds / stopping)
