Replaced belt with gatorback and wire-wheeled the fan pulley and it's quiet so far. Time will tell.

i have been trying to find a gater belt for my 97 3.0 ranger with a/c and no 1 here in san diego sells it or able to get it so they say

Goodyear Gatorback belts and hoses are now branded Continental Elite.

A new company took over making them back in 2015, so even if you found a "Gatorback" belt, it's at least 7 years old.

You want a "Continental Elite Belt #4060882"
