Any ideas?

On my way home from work my truck was running normal. Out of nowhere it started idling funny and if I got off the gas it would die. The check engine light came on and was blinking. I was able to limp into auto zone (not being able to go over 2000 RPM, it seemed like it was bogging out). They read a total of 14 codes, all having something to do with a cylinder misfire. Any ideas on what could cause this out of the blue? I need her back on the road quick because she's my money maker, being a cable guy and all.

You probably want to go with the spark plug extended possibility. It may also be a spark plug wire, the coil pack, or the distributor or electronic ignition. They are all related and are probably the cause of what ails your truck. If you haven't had a tune up in the last 100k miles, you are past due and that should cover the areas I've discussed other than the coil pack. That would not be in the tune up cost. Good luck.
