Yeah. I was about a minute away from sawsall-ing one side of the other cat that I think needs to be replaced and my parents pulled the plug. They said that if I screw something up, I will end up costing them hundreds of dollars. Which may be true, but I'm a 16 year old kid, I like to play. I will simply drive the truck to a friends house and look at the cat there. I am almost positive that it is a blocked cat now. I know which one it is too. I saw it smoking when I got out of my truck today after driving about 50 miles, so I'm almost positive I know which one it is.

Yeah I'm sure it got pretty damaged from all the fuel that got dumped and burned in it.

That's what I'm hoping but just in case it isn't, do you guys think it could be a bad transmission or torque converter or something? I'm getting rather hard shifts into second gear and the rest are smooth so I am worried it is a transmission issue. Oh and thankfully, after I reset the computer, I got a check engine light, which is good because that means that I'm that much closer to finding the problem. I'm hoping it P0420 for catalytic converter inefficiency.

well replacing the tps will help too, that can also make you truck run like ****, and burn really rich, which is probly why your cat got screwed up since it just dumped too much gas in and like soeone elso in this thread said, it was asically on fire inide it. when you replace it make sure you have spare screws, i'll be suprised if you can get yours out with out ****ing them up, mine had locktite on them.
