Any free mods out there for an '03 4.0 sohc?

Just wondering if there were any free modifications that you could do to a 4.0 that for example, increase intake flow or any bypasses that could increase horsepower. Just wondering because I own a Z28 LT1 corvette powered Camaro and I did a TB bypass and Intake Silencer Deletion and took the screen out of the MAF and etc.. As a result, my car gets better mileage than my Ranger! Anyways, any ideas?

When your looking for more power with these engines.....nothing is free. There is no sensor to unplug to unleash the fury.

An e-fan, intake, exhaust and most important, a tuned programmer will gain about all your going to get without installing forced induction. I plan to get all minus the blower very soon.

Good luck.

there is a MAF mod out there.. but its sorta a hit or miss mod. Alot of people take out the scilencer on the intake which helps. Also, there is alot of slack in the throttle cable. that helps as well (not with gas milage though).
