changing my alternator right now....

im changing my alternator, and everything was going fine, but now im stuck. all the wires and bolts are disconnected, except for the fattest wire. the one that connects into the back of it, i cant pull it off. it looks like the wires that would be connected to spark plugs. anyone know the right way to get that thing off my alternator?

um havent had to do one on a 4.0L but my 2.3L had a nut that held it on the stud.. any pics of yours?

Yeah pull the rubber boot off.

under the boot, should be a nut, probably 10mm.
