engine trouble code... cant find what it is

I pulled B1062 today and cant seem to find what it is.

It might just be telling me about the oil pressure sending unit, which i know is a problem and i will be fixing tonight, but what is this code?

Thanks!

Are you sure it's a B code? B's are "Body" codes which relate to non-powertrain systems, and the 1xxx series are manufacturer specific I believe.

My Ford references only list a handful of B codes and they all relate to PCM-PATS communications, radio, or other electrical circuit malfunctions -- no direct engine relation.

And there is no P1062 in the Ford codes I have.

Are you absolutely sure of that code? If so, see a dealer because it's undocumented in my sources.

If it was a segmented LCD and the light was at the wrong angle, it wouldn't be hard to get it wrong. I've had that happen with LCD voltmeter displays before.

There is no B1062. There is a B1562 - Central Security Module (CSM) - Door Lock Cylinder Circuit Short to Ground
