Sounds like you may have wet the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor).
When this sensor has gotten wet.... the computer is confused as to the position of the throttle plate.
With the vehicle and ignition OFF..... remove the connector that attaches to the TPS. The TPS is screwed to the throttlebody with 2 screws and is usually black plastic.
May need to use some compressed air to dry out the TPS and connector.
DO NOT concentrate the compressed air directly on the TPS... Just blow across it....
Another component that can cause this problem is the IAC (Idle Air Controller) sometimes also known as the IAS (Idle Air Solenoid).
Sometimes the solenoid plunger sticks and this will cause the ilde to be irratic... surging up and down. Remove the connector and the two screws and clean the beveled edge of the plunger with throttlebody cleaner and spray some in the hole that you remove the IAC from. Carbon build up will cause the air flowing thru not to be metered properly; causing the ilde problem.

I would try drying out the TPS with the pressurized air and remove the harness... just to see. You will save yourself a trip to the dealer if this cures your problem.
On Jeep Cherokees this is a common problem that occurs when pressure washing the engine after a day of running thru the mud.

There is a harness that clips onto the TPS (black plastic module that is attached to the throttlebody by two screws). You may need to remove the black plastic dust shield to see most of the throttlebody. There are two components that are attached to the throttlebody; the TPS and the IAC. Both have a connector with a couple wires going to them. The TPS is on the side where it looks like the throttle shaft intersects with it.

HRII,
Removing the moisture inside the electrical connectors and components should have cured your problem.
By some chance IF the problem comes back.... remove the IAC as I previously posted. Clean the beveled disc on the end of the solenoid shaft with throttlebody cleaner and spray some down the port where the IAC was removed from.... This will allow the IAC to meter the air better controlling the idle properly.
