Clunking in the front end

So I bought my 4x4 the other day. Tried the 4 wheel drive by locking hubs and turning switch to 4Hi. Worked fine but passenger side wouldn't unlock afterwards. Took hub off looks fine. Then I bamged rotors off and put new rotors and brakes on. Now I have clunking noises in front end. Why why whyyy!! Is it the bearings that seemed fine or drive axles that should be unlocked. Do I have to put a camera under the truck or what??

Alright thats what i was going for to see if you had the manual hub conversion or still had the vacuum actuated system.
