fuel filter help

fuel filter help

i know this sounds stupid but i cant get the two lines off of my fuel filter. i have the special tools that r usually used for lines on an automobile but according to the haynes book that is not helpful what so ever i shouldn't need them........... any help would be great. i have replaced fuel filters on all of my vehicles and never had problems before. should i just pull harder or am i retarted.........?

Pinch the colored clips in and they should come out. You can do it with a set of pliers.

Its pretty easy once you figure out those clips.

Haha just changed my filter it qas a ***** trying to figure out wat to do bought special tool clips till i read you didnt need em. I just used pilers push down on the clolor clip thts showing a pull . When u put them bak on make sure and check that there on .
