I was looking to get something that will give me more power for my truck? Im getting a 4in sus lift, 35's,4:56 gears, and more but i want this thing to be able to get up and go. Is the anything i can get for this slug? nothing that is too expensive. thanks, If anyone has a chip or what not how does the truck feel afterwards? thanks

chip will definatly help. my truck with 33s and a chip keeps up with an stock 04 lvl 2. so id say it helps.

but idk if the Bamachips Programmer will work on a 96. You should ask Bob Soundper4mance.

if you have an OBD-II port on your truck, which you should, you can use any bamachips products, including flashers. otherwise youll have to use a chip, but youcan still get the tuning done, thats the best bang for the buck, and will help recalibrate your speedo and transmission (auto) after your gear and tire changes

the X2 is 379, that ends Dec 31st, that price is unbeatable, its the lowest SCT will allow. even at full price, its only $25 more than an X1 when you buy the cable, and you get SO many features. I actually got one of the very first X2s to hit the market. seriously, serial number 0000012.

ill let you in on a secret, keep checking the site, a used X1 should hit it soon, at a pretty good price

you will not only see power differance but the very way that it will performe is greatttttttttt.i have sent mine back to have doug make changes to tuning [93 octane] and i would have never beleived that having to go back to stock tuning would have been this hard to live with.in other words cant wait to get flasher back from doug

the directions are very simple, and they are included. plug it in, hit a few buttons, and youre done.

The X2 has the same features as the X1, BUT, it datalogs (on ANY 96+ ford), it reads and clears CELs (on any 96+ vehicle), it uses a faster USB cable to connect to your computer, it offers ON TUNER tweaks for the tunes, and it offers a much more user friendly interface. if you go to our site it goes a little more in depth to the features of the X2. the X1 you will need to buy a proprietary cable to connect it to your comp for updates, making it $25 less than the X2 ($4 less this month!). The X2 comes with its own standard USB cable
