Noob Exhaust Help

hey guys, my exhaust is rotting out on my truck. The muffler is loose and just today I was able to pull the tailpipe right out of it lmao. So I need a new one. I called the local muffler shop and they quoted me something stupid like $700. Sounded pretty crazy for a stock system so I started looking online at aftermarket.
Im thinking I want Magnaflow based on some of the reviews and based on what I found when I searched here. I want a slightly deeper tone with just a little more throat than stock, not a loud obnoxious ricey exhaust that is going to drive me crazy.
My main question reguards instalation. As far as either the basic Magnaflow dual rear exit or single side exit catback exhausts. Some sights have said they are weld on, other state they are bolt on. Which is it? I want an easy to instal bolt on kit as I dont have acess to a welder. So If you have one of these systems, how was the instal, and any other comments are greatly appreciated. 1999 Ford Ranger Magnaflow Exhaust Systems, Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust System, Magnaflow XL

Thanks guys.

I have the SLP kit on my truck. (Magnaflow muffler) It is loud enough to hear but not overbearing. When you do put your foot down it does get quite lout. Its a well rounded muffler/setup.

I cut my stock stuff off, removing the old muffler was a pita. Pry bar and spray lube would have help if I thought of it before hand.

The JBA kit uses a magnaflow muffler as well. Im not sure who has the best price on these. Also check Summit Racing, they are awesome in service and selection.

I have a Gibson with dual out "1 pipe on each side" I didnt want something to loud and its also all stainless and easy bolt on. About half the price of magnaflow.

My Magnaflow was $75 inc. tax at Summit, The shop would have charged $75 to weld it up, I payed $210 for the catback, so less than $300 out the door and its welded. The systems are nice and all but most people just have a shop do a custom catback, much cheaper and welded. I checked prices at about five local shops before I decided on one.
