Plugging EGR on JBA Headers.

I have a set of JBA Headers coming they are for some other year ranger that has EGR on the passenger side. I need to plug this hole, anyone know the thread size? Or can I just weld it shut.

thanks!

goto a parts store, they should have "bung plugs".
lol yes, thats what they are called i think..

hardware stores should have something too, idk tho, they will most likely be steel.

you could always find a short bolt that will fit in it if that fails.

Mine was. I just bought a *heavy wall* brass end cap / plug for a regular garden hose at home depot. Worked fine.

leave it open! its less restriction for sure! like 10extra ponies!

unscrew your egr fitting on the factory manifolds(if you have egr) if not, i say jus get it welded up, chances are once they are on, you wont want to take them off ha
