Underdrive Pulley Install Help

Aight...after taking everything off but the fan I realized I didn't have the fan removal tool. So i put everything back on and went and got the tool. Got everything back off, got the fan off, got the bolt out...now i cant get the pulley off and i think i might have stripped the threads out of the pulley where the two studs thread into. What do i do now? As of now, the truck is back together as i have to drive to work in the morning and then get to take everything back off tomorrow afternoon after work. Is this normal to have this much difficulty or am I just that unlucky?

let me clarify my question...if i did strip the threads inside of the crank pulley, is there another way of getting it off? If i didn't strip the threads inside of the crank pulley, what can i do to help get it off?

D, this bolt that you are talking about....is it what you are pushing off of with the threaded rod on the puller?

well the problem im having is with the puller itself...the bolts that came with the puller are too short, so im using the ones that came with the new pulley. Well they wont thread right, so i just went out and bought to bolts the length i need. I have the puller on the pulley and under tension, but the pulley still aint budging. what do i do now because im afraid if i try cranking down on the puller bolt again its gonna strip out the threads more.

not sure by reading this if you are referencing to the crank pulley or the water pump, because of you talking about the fan. For the crank pulley, reef that puller down and take a flat punch or a soft hammer and tap the crank pulley from the back side to try and jar it loose

im kinda ashamed to admit why i was having so much trouble getting the pulley off...the large center screws that is supposed to push off of the crankshaft...well...that screw was to big and was just pushing off of the pulley itself. Once I figured that out, everything went smooth...sometimes the obvious things are easily overlooked
