electric fan

electric fan

I would like to take my stock fan off and put a electric fan in for the addad benifits.I have found a fan on line that 3,000 cf,I understand how to mount the fan in the ranger but my qustion is where do I hook up the fan wires to? I also plan on putting a HD alt. in also a togle switch in the cab is there anything else I need?.

they sell little temp switches to automatically turn the fan on when the coolant gets to a temp you have predesignated. if your going to put a toggle to control it as well dont waste time with temp activating it. i took the mech of my dtec and left the factory electric, which is only activated when the ac is spinning, but then alot of the hvac setting engage the pump on rangers so its like a factory on/off though ive never had to use it. truck runs no hotter then before although im sure if i went back to LA, on the 405, at 3pm, on a summer day, that would change.
