Exhaust q's

The 94 ranger I bought came with a 4.0 swapped into it. I have no idea what year it was from. The exhaust that came with the truck is: Long tube headers, which seem to have not fit too well because it seems like it has some kin of RTV around it and it gies straight into a random muffler with no name or markings. I bought a low mile 4.0 Out of a 97 to swap in. The guy gave me his old exhaust but the catalytic converters are hollowed out. I'm going to need new ones to pass Cali emmissions. I'm thinking of going with a complete new exhaust. What are the most common Brands of exhaust for these rangers? Will I have any problems fitting a 97 exhaust to a 94 body? Can anyone link me?

You will proabably have to go custom. It will depend on what headers they are. It will be cheaper and easier for you to just go buy some exhaust pipe and do it yourself.
