runs as it might be flooded

While driving my 1994 4.0 fx4 ranger i have a issue., the truck runs as it might be flooded on gas. If i come to a stop after the acceleration or passing the truck drops rpms like it is about to stall. what could it be?
Changed fuel filter three months ago along with plugs and wires. No help

If it idles funny then it could be a throttle position sensor (TPS) I have a 1994 ranger 4.0 5spd and the idle would drop and almost stall and then would spike to 1000 rpms sensors are junk on these trucks I had to replace my mass airflow sensor(MAF) and my intake air temp sensor(IAT)
