FIPK problems?

are there any downsides to a k&n fipk intake? any problems or anything that go along with it?

I never had a problem with mine..... I think i might sell mine since i have no need for it now.... air filter its self has 5k on it.... the rest of the kit has 15k on it

Only problem you might have with it (and any other oiled cotton filter) is when you go to clean the filter. If you over oil it, you will mess up your MAFS and possibly IAC.

AEM makes filters that are a hybird and dont require oil ever and perform just like a K&N filter.
