Vacuum Lines

New to the forum here. Long time ranger owner. My current truck is a 2001 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0 4x2. I had the truck about 20 years I recently hit over 200K when I decide to do an engine swap. I currently have installed the engine and I have vacuum line I do NOT know where iT goes. I have attached a picture of a diagram showing the end of the hose I trying to connect. Any help would be apricated. Thanks

I think the line you circled gets extended to the vacuum reservoir associated with the "Max AC" blend door closer.
Mine is sphere shaped, in the engine bay on the right inner fender ahead of the axle line.
The vacuum line is reduced to hard, smaller diameter vacuum line 2 feet before it reaches the reservoir.

That loose VacHose may be control line to junk plastic HeaterControlValve,
factory mounted\hidden underneath Alternater in 5/8"CoolantLine running from WaterPump to HeaterCore.
Click here for more info on the 2Way HeaterControlValve.

My Vacuum line is not long enough to reach the alternator. Plus I found the vacuum line for the junk plastic Heater Control Valve. All I have left is the vacuum line picture below.
