Gas Mileage

The past couple weeks my trucks been getting incredibly horrible gas mileage. Im in New Hampshire and its been in the high 20's low teens in the mornings and at night when I go to work and come home. Changed the air filter, plugs, fuel filter, tire pressure is good, new IAC valve 6k miles ago, MAF was cleaned 2 weeks ago when i chaged the air filter....Im at just below a 1/2 tank and turned 96 miles, dont know what else i can check???

I have the same thing goin with mine. i just thought it was caused by the additives they put in the gas for winter so it doesnt freeze or congeal.

I feel your pain man....as soon as you add 4WD, a V-6 and bigger tires, you still have a "compact truck" that gets half-ton gas mileage.

I plan to sell mine and get a 4-banger 2WD as a daily driver.....and a Mustang for fun time.

Might wanna consider a few engine mods.....with the tuner, efan, & exhaust (and with the auto trans) I was getting 17 on the highway and 15 in the city.....right now with the manual trans and no tuner I am getting 17 on the highway and 15 in the city.....I can't wait to get the new tune for it...

If its that bad I'd think your tires are either half flat, your left foot is on the brake, or you have a brake dragging.
