crankshaft seal

My 2001 ranger is leaking oil out of the crankshaft seal, has anyone changed one of these how difficult is it, or would i be better off taking it somewhere? 2001 ranger edge 4.0 4x4 thanks!

front one? Once the pulley is off it pries out and a new one slides in. The rear seal needs the tranny removed to get access.

I'll be doing one in the next couple of days and I'll let you know. It looks pretty straight forward and I don't see any need to touch the pan. In reading up on this in the manual it states to replace the Crank bolt with a new one? Any opinions would be appreciated. Are they prone to fail if used again? I built engines with used head bolts that were suppose to be replaced with new ones with no problems, is this the same.
01 didn't intend to hyjack you thread my apologies.
