need help hot wiring a 4.0 ohv
i have a 4.0 ohv motor that is sitting on a pallet. i need help hot wiring the starter to just crank the motor over. the purpose of this is to do a leak down and possibility a compression test to check the quality of this motor.
one other question what do i need to do to prime the oil pump?
this is the motor.
these are the leads that come off the starter.
what can i do to make this work?
thank you

the two in red i connected to the positive and the one in black to the negative. and bam the motor cranked. just for heck i did a compression test on the number 6 cylinder. the original test in that cylinder was 120 and this test was 180. i performed the first test by hand cranking and this test was via hot wired starter.
thanks for all the help
