p1401

so i changed the egr sensor today and instead of the p401 egr insufficient its p1401...wtf...lol
p1401 Manufacturer contrl auxiliary emission controls

guess what iam asking is what would cause that code?

It says that the voltage from the DPFE to the PCM is higher than it should ever be. That sounds like either a crossed wire, an open signal return wire or a bad DPFE.

I would check all the vac lines to the EGR and make sure there are no vac leaks
