well as you know i ust to have my exhaust out the back of my truck and i run straight pipes. well i jack knifed my truck Saturday and my trailer bent my exhaust to hell and now i only have about 5 feet of pipe with punched cats and no muffler just pipe. is this going to hurt my motor i drove it to college over 100 miles and im going to drive it home Friday and around a little bit till i get a chance to get it back on which will be around 200 miles

Can i hurt anything?

 

I have driven the past 2 years with no muffler. You will be fine.

 

i have been driving the last 6 monthes with straight pipes the whole way out the back but now im running a total of 5 feet of pipe from manifolds to where it ends under the cab maybe 7 feet at the most

 

thats enough pipe, it is essential that you have enough pipe so when valve overlap occurs, you are not sucking cold air past the exhaust valve
