I've got the magnaflow with dual outlets. Thier kit doesn't fit the FX4 very well. So I only ran it for a year or so. Few months ago I cut the tail pipes off and made new ones that come out behind the tires at an angle.
As far as sound goes. It has a drone at 2500+ rpms so with 4.10s it can get annoying. These new tips I put on are thick walled mild steel (stock is SS) and that actually made it significantly quieter. Still has a decent tone and is nice to live with daily. Not too loud but has a bit of rumble to it.
IMO it's still a little louder than the gibson dual outlet.

Look...
If your going to do things ' right ', buying a ' kit ' will be a ' universal ' application.. Theres no guarantee anything will fit as a ' kit ' is made to TRY and fit everything and satisfy everyone.
Buy a muffler and have a local shop twist up and hang the pipes. This will GUARANTEE a solid fit, everything being clamped properly and no exhaust leaks.
If you have a local shop twist the pipes, they can make them clear any hitch, bumper, rollpan or axle and exit wherever you want.
