the newer rangers sound better than than the 01-03 ranger w/ straits for a fact. friend had a yellow 02 edge 4.0 sohc 4x4 w/ straits and it sounded like a bumble bee. he had the black stripes to make it look like one too. lol. dno why this would be though

You guys are funny. So many people on here don't understand exhaust performance, or modern emissions testing.

Because I don't know where to start. I've posted in threads like this so many times and nobody searches. I've pretty much limited myself to threads of interest to mods I'd do (Not exhaust because I like my truck quiet as a church-mouse)

There are some good facts here but alot of folklore.

Mines not ricey or like a bumble bee at all. It sounds alot like the 40 series did but deeper and a tad louder. With 4 cats tho it cant be loud anyway LOL!

I wasn't ragging on your vid. Sometimes it just sounds different coming from my crappy computer speakers... No hard feelings...

You don't have to worry what your exhaust sounds like Z, The S/C whine is soooo loud that it would be hard to hear. LOL.. S/C FTW
