mileage 4.0

what kind of mileage do you all get out of these trucks i am thinking about trading my truck in it is a 2000 ranger 3.0 auto 2wd for a 1997 ranger 4.0 5 speed 4wd would you all do it

You can probably find this information by doing a search.
I get 19 or so. Probably 70% - 80% highway driving.

I've been getting around 16mpg with 5" lift and 33's.

Sorry I was talking about mileage on the truck like when the engines start having problems.

oh, lol

My last one had 28k when it burned up, no problems. The new one has 54k miles, no problems.

he is talking about the OHV. there are some members with alot of miles on the 4.0OHV

i have a ranger with 200000 on it and have not had many problems. just make sure to take car of it. keep it clean that is one thing that helps.

106k last ranger had 228k when it got hit and was still driveing awesome!!

my ohv has 160,000 and runs great,but i get about 12 mpg city and 16 highway
