For what its worth I had set of JBA headers on my 97 Thunderbird and they were total crap. Poor fit and they cracked after 1 year of use. I have talked with a lot of other Thunderbird owners and they had the same problems. I'm sure some of JBA's other headers are better quality but after spending 700 dollars for that junk i'll never do business with them again.

warrantiable? or they found some way to weasel out of that? heard edelbrock used to make headers for the ranger..don't they made them for a 00 4.0same with hedman... sorta wish hooker made headers for it

No the SOHC headers do not fit a OHV motor. They list that as 97+ cause the explorer used the SOHC motor.
