Fuel Filter

How do you remove the damn fuel filter "Quick Release" fittings with out a special tool?

No tool needed! Push the fitting toward the filter then push the colored tab and yank. That's it.

too late, i just went and bought the damn tool haha.. but still dont think it fixed my problem...

The tool does not work very well on the later Rangers. Just push in on the colored tabs as explained before.

yeah, the tabs. I tried using the tool on mine since I had it, didn't work very well. Then I tried the tabs, works better.
