yep. I installed the tuner yesterday but I could only use the 87 octane tune cause thats whats in my tank right now. I've only driven it once since tuning it but so far I love it! I cant wait to see what the 93 tune can do. Fred said thats what most people run because it gets you the biggest overall changes in HP, throttle response, mpgs, torque, etc...

 

do you expect running 93 that you will see an mpg increase as well to offset the cost of the 93? or you think you'll still be sacrificing some cost there to have the extra hp?

 

im gonna guess that the extra money I have to pay for 93 will even out with the added mpgs....but the extra hp and torque will be an added bonus!

 

any updates on fuel mileage? how has this tuner been treating you?

Hey Sheen, I know I'm bringing up an old Thread. But I'm looking at getting the SCT X3 and you said you were getting 22 mpg on the highway, but what kind of differential, and gears you running? And also I'm guessing you've got 4x4?

 

i have the 8.8 rear with 4.10 gears and yea I was gettin that gas mileage on the freeway with 35s when i ran my performance tune....and that was with a bad coil pack.
