JBA headers 4.0

I just had them installed by someone els & i have to tighten them my self. so if anyone can tell me the easiest way to get to them & how to do it i would love to know & how often u have to re tighten them?

never done it myself, but i believe I remember someone saying the easiest way is to jack the truck up and remove the front tires and inner fender.

I just find the right size wrench's and stick my arm in down there

actually I have had them on for over 3 years now and never tightened them...I've checked them but they never got loose....good luck I suppose

Oh I probably should tighten mine maybe? I just put them on a while back and never checked them again. Easiest way to get to the passanger side is through the wheel well.

Just went out and retightened mine a good half turn! headers musta warped some!

13 ft lbs.. 13mm is the size i believe... i used ratchet wrenches to snug them up and hit the bolts that i could with a torque wrench... kinda got an idea of how much force 13ft pounds was and went to town with a ratchet wrench.. i used factory hardware tho so it was TIGHT fit in some spots... and i stripped a hole on the heads and lost some bolts haha im going to get a new hardware set and pay a shop to re install them with the new hardware and get the exhaust leak fixed haha
