question on cold air??

question on cold air??

i was looking on ebay and saw a couple, as of now i have a k&n drop in w the silencer removed, my friends all getting the cold air so i wana feel even cooler even tho there trucks suck, anyways what kinds are good on ebay??? the k&n's were like 185$ on ebay and my friends go Mac or something or briantspeed<never herd of, so are they like the same and is the Crome tubing better than the plastic?? i wana got one and do they give anything and will i feel it??

i got the k&n for my truck...you notice the power right there around 3000 rpm.
you can go to the knfilters.com site and look at the dyno charts where the extra power is. It sounds pretty sweet too..and looks awesome...
I say go k&n because they dont make the mac for our trucks and its a pretty good price.
well i guess im wrong..they do make the mac for the ohv, i just didnt see it before.

ok thanx i was looking at the voilant intake but way to expencive, does the crome or plastic tube make any diffrance??

ive always heard the plastic stays cooler..but you prob. wouldnt tell a difference

where was a good sight u guys used to order from the one that Zach put sown dint have like anything for 99 rangers w/4.0

The explorer kit should work the same.. I believe they are the same engines.. Either way, I also sell those intakes as well as a few others.

i only see CGS on ur sight to fit my truck and it like 240$ i clicked on the air rade and u dint have my year only newer

That is a great price if it is a K&N. Even if you add $20-$25 freight it is still a great price. The only one they make for your application is the FIPK which is the plastic tube. Model number should be 57-2527.

My buddy bought one of them cold air intakes for his truck off ebay....and it seems like when we line up...that he lost a lil bit of the low end....i had a aftermarket intake and felt the same thing and just did the K&N drop in and cut the box open more....that was the best thing to do for me.
